At Vincennes Beauty College you will receive hands-on education on our clinic floor providing services that will aid in your long-term career in the beauty industry.

Requirements for the Cosmetology Program:

• Complete application for enrollment.

• Provide proof of education: Supply Vincennes Beauty College with a copy of your High School transcripts or the equivalent (GED).

• Provide proof of age: Supply Vincennes Beauty College with a copy of your birth certificate or driver’s license.

• Receive Pre-Enrollment Information and complete the signature page.

• Pay $250.00 enrollment fee.

How long will it take to complete the Cosmetology program?

• The state of Indiana requires 1500 clock hours for cosmetology training. Vincennes Beauty College policy requires you to complete within a maximum of three (3) years.

What do I wear?

• The uniform for the Cosmetology program consists of the following:

• Black, red, silver, or white non-cloth, closed-toe shoes.

• Black pants - skirts and capris must extend past your lab jacket and be no shorter than the knee.

• Black stylist apron with Vincennes Beauty College logo.

• Black T-Shirt with Vincennes Beauty College logo.

What are the requirements to graduate?

To graduate the Cosmetology program at Vincennes Beauty College you must do the following:

• Pass all the required exams (including finals), complete the practical projects required by the Indiana State Board, and accumulating 1500 actual clock hours of attendance.

• Pay a fee of $48 to take the Indiana State Board Licensing Exam.

• Achieve a passing grade on the Indiana State Board Licensing Exam. Practical 80% (taking in school) and Written 75% (computerized and taken at testing site.
