Instructor Training Program
The objective of the Instructor Training course is to provide an in-depth knowledge of the skills involved in teaching the art of cosmetology and a thorough knowledge of all related sciences.

Requirements for the Instructor Training Program
Complete application for enrollment.
Provide proof of education: Supply Vincennes Beauty College with a copy of your High School transcripts or the equivalent (GED).
Provide proof of age: Supply Vincennes Beauty College with a copy of your birth certificate or driver’s license.
Receive Pre-Enrollment Information and complete the signature page.
Pay $100.00 enrollment fee.
Hold an active cosmetology license in the state of Indiana and provide a copy.
Have actively practiced Cosmetology for at least six (6) months.
How long will it take to complete the Instructor Training Program?
The State of Indiana requires 1000 clock hours for instructor training. Vincennes Beauty College requires you to complete within a maximum of three (3) years and six (6) months.
What do I wear?
The uniform for the instructor training program consists of the following:
Professional looking street clothes.
Comfortable shoes.
White lab jacket.
Name badge
*All students are responsible for purchasing their own uniforms either prior to or on their first day of scheduled class.
What are the requirements to graduate?
To graduate the Instructor Training Program at Vincennes Beauty College, you must do the following:
Complete 1,000 actual clock hours of training.
Achieve a passing grade on each exam, frinal written exam, and all practical exams (80%).
Pay a fee of $48 to tale the State Board Written Exam
Complete and pass the written State Board Exam (75%)
